So, You Want to Stop Snoring

Sometimes there just isn’t any justice. Your partner has to endure all of your snoring while you get to sleep right through it. The ultimate irony is that you get to pass the misery of your condition to your partner. If this sounds familiar, you really need to find a way to stop snoring. With that in mind, lets see if we can discover how to prevent snoring.

You must make every effort to not sleep on your back. The muscles in your throat relax as you sleep causing an obstruction to your airway. If you sleep on your back it’s easier for the relaxed tissue to obstruct your air flow.

Snoring can also be controled by using a snoring spray shortly before going to bed. A good snoring spray will keep your throat muscles taut and allow you to breathe without restriction.

Another large factor in snoring is being overweight. Extra body weight also means that you have extra fatty tissue in your throat, and that will only make your problems worse. If you’ll lose the extra weight, your snoring may just go away on it’s own.

Remember, too, that drinking alcohol before bed, taking cough or sinus medicine, and even smoking can also contribute to snoring. All of these things work to relax your throat muscles, and that will only add to your snoring problem.
